It has been a while since an update on this page indeed!!! In the midst of some great news.... which I will get to very soon, Randy Black, the esteemed drummer from Primal Fear, and a Canadian, will be puttign on a drum clinic at Axe Music in Edmonton Alberta THIS FRIDAY! Tickets are available at the store for a mere 5 bucks!!! Please see the poster ad for details...

In other great news, Primal Fear are about to release a LIVE DVD and CD "16.6 All over the World" (DVD) and "Live in the USA" for the CD. They will be commencing another North American tour with several shows in eastern canada and across the USA! Check their website for a full tour itinerary and how to get tickets... The release for the DVD/CD is in June. Pretty excirting news if you ask me, because the last live DVD we have is from 2001/2002 and this will feature many new songs as well as the new lineup.

It has been a long time since an update... Life sometimes gets in teh way of the fun things. Anyways, much ado as we all know! Long time guitarist, Stefan Leibing has left the band and been replaced by Magnus Karlsson. So far, everything is sounding great with the new player and in fact, the newest release, "16.6 Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" boasts some pretty awesome lead work from both Magnus and Henny. The album will be released on May 22nd, and I am finding that a lot of the new material is very reminiscent of older style Primal Fear. In tour news, so far the band has ONE show booked in Canada, in Montreal on September 13th. Let's hope for more, because the next closest gig will be in LA!

Holidays are over now, and I hope everyone had a super Christmas and a fun New Year's party as well! The band has finished up a ton of touring in Europe and Japan, and hopefully, we'll see some new tour dates coming for this year. The New Religion album is absolutely fantastic, and the liner and artwork are top notch. Special thanks to Jorg at Metal Commando Germany for the new logo as well! Let's ring in the New Year Metal style!!!!

The release date for NEW RELIGION is set for November 25th here in Canada. Thanks to a kind fellow at HMV in Red Deer... Something tells me I will need to have a "private" listening party :) In other exciting news, Henny Wolter and his girlfriend have just had their first baby! A big congrats goes out to Henny!

The basic site (sans frames) is nearly up and running. There are band pics, a history, discography with song listings, YouTube videos, important links and an e-mail contact up and running as of now!
